The CPX-944 as from revision B software supports barcode / QR code scanning. This can be used to easily enter the VIN into the CPX device.
Please be aware only VIN’s displayed as Barcode or QR code can be scanned!
As from January 2026 the CPX-944 is also orderable with the barcode scanner included. The TPCE part number is: 099E1-M0944-BR
Devices without a scanner can be upgraded. The scanner will be build into the CPX, which only can be done at a Midtronics service partner.
